Bad Boss Stress Therapy

One-third of our life is spent at work. That’s nearly 90,000 hours of life. Suffice it to say that if you are spending that much time at work, it needs to be a positive environment that does not compromise your mental health. And the relationship with your boss is maybe the most vital piece for a healthy workplace.

Workplace woes?

Workplace Woes
  • Feeling on edge

  • Having difficulty sleeping

  • Having angry outbursts

  • Bad dreams

  • Inability to concentrate

  • Racing heart

  • Negative thoughts about self and world

  • Loss of confidence in your abilities

  • Loss of self-esteem

Are you experiencing?

Bad bosses can be verbally abusive, highly critical, demoralizing, micromanagers, take credit for your work or don’t give you credit, have anger issues, quick to blame just to name some of the things you might be experiencing which all lead to a toxic work environment.

Before becoming a psychotherapist I was a Human Resource Professional for 20 years. I witnessed many toxic bosses and saw firsthand what this can do to a person's mental and physical well-being. I still see it in my private practice all of the time.

Today, I use brain-based therapies to help people heal from the trauma of a bad boss along with practical strategies to help people cope in the workplace. It’s time to rebuild your self-esteem!

The good news is research shows the brain has a surprising level of neuroplasticity! It can rewire itself. That means you can change your brain. Not only the structures and their pattern of reacting but even parts that were once thought impossible or inflexible, science is proving the brain actually has a tremendous ability to transform and create new neural pathways at any age.
